After graduating I worked for several years as a field biologist on a wide range of conservation projects, ranging from otter population surveys, radio-tracking pine martens, squirrels and badgers and a number of cetacean population studies. I am passionate about the use of robust science in answering questions vital to species conservation management and have worked in the UK, Spain, Portugal, the Caribbean and New Zealand.
